My white brother,
When I was born I was black.
When I grew up I was black.
When you catch the sun I'm black.
When I'm cold, I'm black.
When I'm afraid I'm black.
When I'm sick I'm black.
When I lose my courage, I'm black.
When I die, I'll be black.
And you, white man,
When he was born, was pink.
When he grew up, was white.
When taking in the sun turns red.
When you are cold, turns purple.
When you're afraid, is white.
When you are ill, is green.
When you lose courage, turn yellow.
When you die, will be gray.
After all this, white man, you still have the nerve to call me a man of color?
